Biography

Jennifer Blair began her career in film in 1992 on The Firm.  Over the next twenty-five + years she worked on over thirty productions including classics such as Jurassic Park III and The Holiday, comedies The Longest Yard and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and fan favorite, Tenacious D: In The Pick of Destiny. Her final film was Fate Of The Furious, which filmed in Iceland.

After completing her Master’s degree in 2018, she took a position in the Physical Production Department of Universal Studios as Director of Travel. While there she contributed to the slate of Universal and Focus films, such as Oppenheimer, Wicked, Downton Abbey, Jurassic World Dominion, F9, Fast X, Hobbs & Shaw, Nope, 1917 and many others.

In 2022 she joined the faculty at Belmont University, where she teaches Creative Producing, Production and Set Management, Advanced Pre-Production and Art of Storytelling. 

An award-winning short film Producer, Jennifer’s first project, Last Request, won multiple awards and was short listed for the Academy Awards in 2000.  While in graduate school she helmed, directed and produced Homecoming, which garnered over thirteen festival awards and almost 1 million views on YouTube.

Jennifer has a BA in Marketing from The University of Memphis and an MBA in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge.
