Biography

Dr. Dambrino joined Belmont’s graduate nursing faculty in the fall of 2019. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2010 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Belmont University in 2016. Dr. Dambrino is passionate about providing innovative and evidence-based education to prepare the next generation of DNP leaders to transform healthcare systems and improve population health outcomes. Recognized as an enthusiastic and knowledgeable educator who cultivates engaging and inclusive learning environments, Dr. Dambrino brings creativity and realism into her teaching within the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), DNP scholarly project, and practice experience courses. As a board-certified FNP, she also enjoys providing holistic and evidence-based care to her patients in Belmont’s on-campus student health clinic. When she is not working, Dr. Dambrino can be found writing and singing music around Nashville, eating at all the local hot spots, and spending time with her Shiba Inu pup Birdie.
