Biography

Dr. Cochran began her nursing career in adult acute care. While she learned so much caring for adults with a variety of diagnoses, she felt deeply that she wanted to work with women and children.  She soon made the transition to the Neonatal ICU where she has worked since 2000. Dr. Cochran is now a certified neonatal registered nurse. After 20+ years, she still has a sincere affection for nursing; it is her joy and honor to care for some of the most vulnerable patients and their loving families.

Dr. Cochran joined Belmont in 2018 as a Simulation Specialist and now teaches in the clinical and lab setting as well as online courses.
