Biography

Kirra M. Cruise-Streat is a highly organized and dedicated administrative professional with over twenty years of experience supporting leadership teams across various sectors. Currently, she serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Student Affairs and Diversity at the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine, where she provides comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the efficient operation of the office and contributing to the success of initiatives that foster a diverse and inclusive academic environment.

Ms. Cruise-Streat began her career in higher education nine years ago at Vanderbilt University, initially serving as a Development Assistant within the Development and Alumni Relations department. In this role, she was instrumental in supporting fundraising initiatives and played a key part in coordinating interdepartmental training efforts to facilitate successful grant submissions. She later transitioned to the Vanderbilt Law School, where she held the position of Senior Executive Secretary in the Office of the Dean, providing high-level administrative support to ensure a seamless and productive academic year for students, faculty, and staff.

With a proven track record in administration and a strong commitment to excellence, Kirra continues to bring her expertise and strategic approach to the advancement of educational goals in her current role.

In her spare time, Kirra enjoys serving on the hospitality team at her local church and helping those in need.
