Biography

Ms. Rickman was hired as a Simulation Specialist in 2019 for the undergraduate school of nursing simulation program. She is responsible for the development, facilitation and evaluation of simulation-based experiences (SBEs) conducted across the nursing program’s concept-based curriculum. As a former emergency department nurse, her favorite simulations are the code blue, end-of-life, and multi-patient simulations that are conducted during the final semester of the program. Ms. Rickman is a DNP candidate graduating in May 2022, and her scholarly work has been centered around psychological safety in pre-licensure nursing simulation.
