Michael James

Biography

Hi there! My name is Michael James, and I’m originally from Fredericksburg, VA. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Mercyhurst University, and a Master’s degree in History of Art and Architecture from the University of Reading in England.

I’m so excited to work with you throughout the admission process and help show you why Belmont University is such a special community. I recently moved to Nashville and have fallen in love with the city. You’ll have a tremendous opportunity to study and thrive in a unique and exciting environment, so please reach out if there is anything I can to do to assist along the way.

My biggest passions outside of work are travel – roadtrips, hiking, and kayaking – and sports. I’m hoping to visit all 60 national parks (over halfway done!) and go to a game at every Major League Baseball stadium and National Hockey League arena.
