BIOGRAPHY
Misty joined Belmont University in 2009. She has a passion for continuous learning and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership through the Higher Education track at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.
She is a member of Women in Higher Education in Tennessee and has contributed to various committees, including the CHSN Wellness Committee, the Professional Development Advisory Group and the University Staff Advisory Council in 2019 and as the Chair in 2020. She currently serves on the CPHS Wellness Committee and works closely with the CPHS Budget Team.
Misty was honored with the Agent of Hope Bridge Building Award in April 2023.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she dedicates time to her dissertation research on graduate student retention. Away from work and coursework, Misty enjoys quality time with her sons, nature walks, working in her yard, listening to audiobooks or podcasts and the culinary adventure of trying new recipes.
