Biography
Rachel joined Belmont University as a part-time adjunct instructor for clinical and lab in spring of 2016, moving into the full-time Lecturer role in fall 2022. Rachel’s experience in nursing has primarily been in pediatric hematology and oncology and pediatric medical-surgical nursing. She also has experience working in the neonatal intensive care unit, ambulatory surgery, and with patients who have end-stage lung disease.
Outside of teaching, Rachel serves as a vocalist on the worship team at her church. She is also a classically trained pianist. She loves spending time with her husband, Tom, son, Hudson, and golden retriever, Juniper.
