Rebecca Schultz is an Assistant Professor of Nursing with over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse and six years as a nurse educator. With extensive clinical expertise in oncology and hematology, Rebecca brings deep practical knowledge into the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings and is passionate about educating the next generation of nurses. In addition to her academic role, Rebecca has been actively involved in nurse residency programs, supporting new graduates as they transition into professional practice. Her scholarly interests center on improving outcomes during this critical transition period, with a focus on evidence-based strategies to support new nurses’ confidence, competence, and retention. She is deeply committed to shaping the future of nursing through education, mentorship, and research.
