Biography
Dr. Ryan Splittgeber is the Interim Chair of the Department of Foundational and Clinical Sciences, Director of the Anatomy Program, and Professor of Anatomy at the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine at Belmont University. Dr. Splittgeber has been teaching medical gross anatomy for 14 years at three different institutions. He served at Vanderbilt University as anatomist, course director, and laboratory director. He held these same titles at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB), the former of which he also served as Assistant Dean of the Health Sciences Education Complex. He received his PhD in neuroscience at UAB and currently serves as the author of Snell’s Clinical Neuroanatomy textbook.
