Biography

Sean is an actor, director, and educator with nearly twenty years of professional experience working across film, television, and theatre.  His career thus far has taken him throughout all of North America as well as the UK and various other parts of Europe. He holds two graduate diplomas from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in both Acting and Directing, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Abilene Christian University. Sean originally joined Belmont in 2018 as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre and Dance where he continues to teach a handful of courses and direct various productions for the main stage and studio theatres.  Starting in 2024, Sean joined the staff of the brand-new Center for Interprofessional Engagement and Simulation as the Standardized Patient Educator where he will use his unique skill set and theatrical background to provide students with highly realistic patient scenarios, helping them develop their ability to make real human connections and prepare them to enter their chosen fields. Sean lives in Nashville with his wife, three children, and one very large dog.
