Stephen Davis

Biography

Stephen Davis has been an adjunct faculty member at Belmont University’s School of Music since 2013, where he teaches Guitar Rig Setup I and II. As a graduate of Belmont's Commercial Guitar program, Stephen has built a distinguished career spanning over 30 years as a freelance guitarist, educator, and technician. Throughout his career, Stephen has worked with a variety of artists and companies, including country music icons Gary Allan and Lorrie Morgan, rock legend Ann Wilson, as well as Groove3.com, Wayfarer Music Group, Guitar Workshop Plus, Premier Guitar, Fingerstyle Guitar Journal, and Ultimate Guitar. In 2023, Stephen released his first book for Hal Leonard, How to Get Great Guitar Tones, a comprehensive guide for guitarists searching for their tonal voice.
