Biography
Dr. Tammy Mattison received her EdD in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University. She studied how stakeholder insights could be used to improve community college student leadership development. Dr. Mattison’s primary background is in the field of Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Her research interests include: leadership development, mentoring and the female mentoring experience, the effect of internships on career performance, and training issues within the workplace. She teaches Introduction to Psychological Science and Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
Outside of the university, Dr. Mattison enjoys reading biographies, spending time with family, listening to music and podcasts, and taking long walks.
