Biography
Thailese brings over ten years of experience in academia, during which she has furthered campus initiatives and led university programming at Vanderbilt's College of Arts & Science. Subsequently, she contributed to Meharry Medical College's clinical care mission, supporting faculty, doctoral students, and resident success within the School of Dentistry. Beyond administrative roles, she has engaged with special populations through various non-profit organizations and completed a master's level practicum with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she focused on the facilitation of psychological services and educational programming. As the Curriculum Manager for the Individualization Phase, Thailese plays a critical role in the development and oversight of clinical and non-clinical electives, as well as selective courses.Thailese is an alumna of the University of the Incarnate Word, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, followed by a Master's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Saint Mary’s University. In collaboration with Faculty Success, the Office of Student Affairs & Diversity, and the Department of Foundational & Clinical Sciences, Thailese is dedicated to continuously enhancing and providing a robust, whole-person approach to curriculum management to meet the comprehensive needs of the Frist College of Medicine.
