Having moved from Mississippi to Nashville about a year ago, one minute I was wrapping up my time in Starkville, and the next, I was settling into Music City - figuring out where the best food spots were and driving past Belmont’s gorgeous campus almost daily. Every time, I’d hear my friends rave about their time at Belmont, which made me think, why am I not a part of this?
What really stood out about Belmont was the strong sense of community and how much they focus on helping students grow both personally and professionally. The MSA program felt like the perfect fit because of how it connects with Nashville’s sports scene and prepares you for different roles. Now, as a Graduate Assistant, I get to combine my love for sports and video games with the vibrant community Belmont is known for. I’m excited to connect with students and help FitRec provide a space for students to feel at home.
