General Move-In Day Guidelines:
- On move-in day, please do NOT bring trailers or U-Haul trucks. Residence Life discourages the use of trailers and U-Hauls as they will not fit in our parking facilities.
Additional NEW STUDENT GUIDELINES:
- Please arrive at your assigned move-in time if you were given one. ResLife staff will be available in the lobby of your complex to check you in during posted check-in times for new students. If you arrive outside of this check-in window, there will be an "on-call" phone number posted so that someone can check you in.
- There will not be volunteers available in the spring to assist with move-in, but there may be blue carts available to assist you in moving your items. Please see the front desk for blue cart availability, and return the carts to the same location promptly after use.
- To expedite the check-in process, please fill out some basic information through your housing portal now so that you don’t have to do so when you arrive. You will need to: 1.) Login to myBelmont, 2.) Select the Housing icon from the Launch Pad, 3.) Select “Contact Information" from the left-hand menu, and 4.) Complete/update the information under "My Info."
- Areas closest to complex entrances will be reserved as unloading zones. You will be asked to relocate your vehicle (to a different lot or another level of your complex’s parking garage) after unloading in order to keep unloading zones clear for incoming students.
