Belmont University Earns Gold and Silver in 2023 Collegiate Advertising Awards

Belmont University is proud to announce that its marketing and communications team has been honored with two prestigious awards in the 2023 Collegiate Advertising Awards. University photographer Sam Simpkins earned a Gold award for his "Move-In Weekend" photo series, while the online course "The Art of Songwriting" received a Silver award in the Online/Remote Learning category. 

Sam Simpkins' award-winning photo series captured the excitement and energy of students starting their academic journey at Belmont. His exceptional talent and dedication to showcasing the vibrant campus community shines through in these personality-filled images.

The Silver award for "The Art of Songwriting" highlights newly launched Belmont Online’s commitment to providing top-quality online education that empowers learners to pursue their passions. Developed in collaboration with instructor and Belmont alumna Emily Falvey (songwriting, music business, ‘18), this first-of-its-kind course continues Belmont's legacy of nurturing exceptional songwriting talent by equipping aspiring songwriters with the skills and knowledge to fuel their creativity and build sustainable music careers.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards honor advertising, marketing and promotion specific to higher education products and services. The Collegiate Advertising Awards allows marketing and advertising efforts to compete against similarly sized colleges, universities and other educational organizations from across the nation.
