College performances focus on ‘a year of wonder’
Belmont University's College of Music and Performing Arts today unveiled its 2024-25 performance season, themed "A Year of Wonder." This extraordinary lineup, open to the public, showcases student and faculty talent, exploring how the performing arts inspire wonder through stories of truth, beauty and goodness.
"It is an honor as an educator, administrator and member of the greater Belmont community to witness the phenomenal gifts our students share every day. Large and small stage productions in music, theatre and dance are offered throughout the academic year; I know that audiences will be challenged and inspired by the ways our developing artists collaborate with one another and our incredibly talented faculty to remind us of the beauty in our world and the truth in our shared human experiences,” said Associate Dean Dr. Jane Duncan. “I look forward to bearing witness to the ways these performances touch hearts and raise spirits, galvanizing our community to celebrate life abundant for all."
