Fisher Center for the Performing Arts Named Education Venue of the Year

150,000-square-foot facility to host 'Christmas at Belmont: Live from Nashville’ on Dec. 11

The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts was named Education Venue of the Year by Meeting Planners International (MPI) Tennessee Chapter, further cementing its status as a home for engagement, inspiration and discovery in the heart of Nashville.

“The Fisher Center truly embodies excellence in every sense, making it a well-deserving recipient of the Education Venue of the Year award,” said Debbie Garcia, vice president of finance at MPI Tennessee. “This prestigious award is given to the venue that received the highest evaluation scores from attendees, and the Fisher Center delivered an exceptional experience. Its beauty and functionality left a lasting impression on all who attended, making it the perfect setting to celebrate the spirit of our industry."

In addition to its 1,727-seat European-style performance hall, the Fisher Center boasts two multipurpose ballrooms, an expansive grand foyer and rehearsal space that attract national organizations and premier events.

On Wednesday, Dec. 11, the Fisher Center will reach a global audience when “Christmas at Belmont: Live from Nashville” streams live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST.
