Randy V. BradleyBelmont University today announced the appointment of Dr. Randy V. Bradley as the new dean of the Jack C. Massey College of Business, home to 13 undergraduate and five graduate programs that cultivate business leaders who lead with integrity, innovation and global purpose. He will begin his new role this summer as current dean Dr. Sarah Gardial is set to retire at the end of the academic year.

Bradley currently serves as a faculty member in supply chain management and information systems at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business. With more than 20 years in academia, he holds a Ph.D. in management of information technology and innovation from Auburn University. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) and Fellow of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (FHIMSS).

The Jack C. Massey College of Business is the only private college or university in Tennessee accredited by AACSB International for business and accounting. Since its founding, Massey College has developed business leaders who combine professional expertise with ethical decision-making, supported by innovative programming and strong industry partnerships in Nashville and beyond.

"Dr. Bradley represents the caliber of leadership we've long championed at Belmont," said University President Dr. Greg Jones. "As an entrepreneur and academic, he embodies the innovative spirit that defines our approach to business education and our university’s commitment to cross-disciplinary collaboration more generally. Rooted in a Christ-centered approach, his work and leadership bridge academic insight with real-world impact by creating companies, solving complex challenges and empowering students to become transformative leaders who make a difference in the world."

Outside academia, Bradley brings valuable executive leadership experience as the chief operating officer and chief innovation officer at Q-Leap Health, Inc., a health care technology company he co-founded and guided from startup to employing more than 50 personnel. Beyond his corporate work, he has held numerous nonprofit roles and has served on multiple boards. As founder and principal of RV Bradley, LLC, he has built a consulting firm serving clients in more than 20 countries, demonstrating his broad impact across sectors.

"I am thrilled to join Belmont University and lead the Jack C. Massey College of Business,” said Bradley. “I look forward to collaborating with our talented faculty, staff, students and campus leaders. Guided by my core beliefs, scholarly practices and entrepreneurial spirit — rooted in my Christ-centered faith — we will build on the outstanding progress stewarded by Dean Gardial. Together, we will promote upward mobility and growth while remaining committed to Belmont’s mission. We will fervently pursue the aim to be the leading Christ-centered university, passionately championing the pursuit of abundant life for everyone we serve. I am eager to connect with our Belmont friends, alumni, donors, corporate partners and industry and community leaders as we embark on this exciting journey together."

In addition to his Ph.D., Bradley earned a master's in management information systems and a bachelor's in computer engineering from Auburn University. Throughout his career, Bradley has received numerous awards recognizing his teaching excellence, research and leadership, underscoring his commitment to creating welcoming environments where all students can thrive.

"Dr. Bradley brings a valuable combination of academic vision and business acumen that will strengthen the College's programs," said Belmont University Provost Dr. David Gregory. "His understanding of how technology transforms business practices and his commitment to experiential learning align perfectly with what today's business education demands. Dr. Bradley's collaborative leadership approach will empower faculty and ensure our programs deliver both the innovative thinking and practical skills that will continue to distinguish our graduates in the marketplace."

In his new role, Bradley will lead nearly 1,000 students and 100 faculty and staff within the Massey College of Business and will support the work of five specialized centers enhancing student learning: the Center for Global Citizenship, the Edward C. Kennedy Center for Business Ethics, the Thomas W. Beasley Center for Free Enterprise, the Thomas F. Cone, Sr. Center for Entrepreneurship and the Accounting Center for Excellence. He will also be a key leader across campus in helping to reimagine higher education for the future.

Reporting directly to the provost, Bradley will provide strategic vision and leadership for the College's undergraduate and graduate programs, foster relationships within Nashville's vibrant business community and establish partnerships that enhance student learning opportunities and career outcomes.

“I am thrilled to welcome Dr. Bradley as the new dean of the College. He brings tremendous business experience and a blend of entrepreneurial spirit and forward-thinking innovation that will magnify the Massey School and Belmont's impact moving forward. Dr. Bradley is well positioned to forge new industry partnerships in Nashville and beyond, and to double down on Belmont's long history of producing high-character graduates ready to perform in an ever-evolving workplace.”
