FlyteVu, a creative and culture agency that connects brands to consumers through the power of pop culture and purpose, is excited to announce the 2026 interns selected for its internship program, F.L.O.C.K. (Where Future Leaders Observe, Create, and Kickstart their Careers), in partnership with Belmont University.

The partnership reflects FlyteVu’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of creative and purpose-driven leaders while providing students with an unparalleled opportunity to launch their careers. Each intern brings a unique mix of skills and perspectives across design, business strategy, and entertainment, reflecting FlyteVu’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of talent through hands-on experience and mentorship.

This year’s F.L.O.C.K. cohort represents a diverse group of emerging creatives and future industry leaders. The 2026 interns include:

  • Kaleb Cruz of Wheaton, IL (Creative Design Intern)
  • Grace Fields of Leawood, KS (Creative Copywriter Intern)
  • Presley Kane of New Lenox, IL (Accounts Intern)
  • Simon Rice of Louisville, KY (Public Relations Intern)
  • Megan Satterthwaite of Wildwood/Eureka, MO (Talent & Partnerships Intern)

“F.L.O.C.K. is about more than internships — it’s about nurturing a community of bold thinkers, innovators, and culture shapers,” said Laura Hutfless, Co-Founder and CEO at FlyteVu. “Partnering with Belmont University allows us to connect with driven students across various disciplines who are ready to push boundaries and make an impact in the world.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with FlyteVu on F.L.O.C.K.,” said Brittany Schaffer, Dean of the Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business at Belmont. “Having worked with FlyteVu firsthand as a client, I know the level of creativity, strategy and excellence they bring to every campaign. That makes this collaboration especially meaningful—our students are learning from the best of the best as they collaborate across disciplines on a live client campaign and pitch directly to brand executives. When our students are trusted to create at that level from day one, they develop the confidence and capabilities that set them apart as creative professionals.”

Interns will gain critical experience across FlyteVu’s dynamic departments—including Creative, Talent, Publicity, and Account Management. Guided by agency leaders, the interns will collaborate to develop and execute a real-world campaign. As part of the F.L.O.C.K. program, participants will ideate, script, strategize, pitch and activate their campaign from concept to completion—offering a true immersion into the creative and strategic process that drives FlyteVu’s award-winning work.

This year’s inaugural class will be working on a brief for Slice — a modernized take on the classic soda brand acquired by Suja Life in 2024 and relaunched in 2025. “We’re thrilled to be part of the F.L.O.C.K. program, giving young creatives a real-world opportunity to engage with our brand and infuse it with fresh energy, cultural insights, and a deep understanding of what’s relevant today,” said Nicole Portwood, Chief Marketing Officer at Suja Life.

This program was beta-tested in 2024, beginning with four students who answered a real-world brief from an existing FlyteVu client. One proof point of its success is Julia Clymer, a graphic design major at Belmont who participated in the beta program and has since continued her employment with the agency.

“Starting as a FlyteVu intern and now continuing as a Creative and Social Coordinator has been such a rewarding journey,” said Clymer. “Being able to collaborate on client campaigns and see my work come to life in the world has been incredibly motivating.”

Students were selected through a competitive, multi-step application process that evaluated their creative abilities, strategic thinking, and overall potential to contribute to meaningful work. The 15-week program provides hands-on experience working alongside industry mentors and will culminate in a final presentation to the client, giving participants the opportunity to pitch their ideas directly to brand decision makers.
