Alumni Testimonial
Daniel Warner
“The Religion and the Arts major taught me – to put a lifelong journey into a short phrase - to love what is beautiful. My professors broke down divisions I had internalized between "the sacred and secular," introduced me to new perspectives on faith and beauty from varying Christian traditions, and engaged topics from Southern literature to popular culture with an eye for the ways the authors challenged the readers' conceptions of God and God's world. My Religion and the Arts degree has equipped me to read, think, and engage critically in theology, politics, education, and more as I try to live into the question of what it means to follow the Way of Jesus.”
