Our Story
For 25+ years, Belmont has supported working adults, veterans and military connected students in their academic journeys. Committed to student success and helping adult students thrive, Belmont provides dedicated support as you navigate your educational goals alongside other life responsibilities.
Where we started: We started in 1998 with three majors, including the self-design liberal studies major and offerings through the Professional Bachelor of Business Administration program.
Where we are now: Due to the ever-changing demand and needs of adult students and the Middle Tennessee workforce, we have expanded to 16 program majors, including a fully online BBA in Business Administration, as well as other online course offerings.
We have also expanded the communities we serve in Middle Tennessee, including
- A partnership with Nashville Ballet for dancers who want to pursue their academic goals while also pursuing a full-time dance career.
- Belmont's PEP (Prison Education Program) at the Turney Center Industrial Complex, Belmont's off-campus instructional site that educates currently incarcerated men in partnership with the Tennessee Higher Education Prison Initiative(THEI) and Belmont's own Massey College of Business.
