Collaborative zones are designated areas in the library for normal volume conversations. Quiet phone conversations and media should be listened to via headphones unless needed for collaborative academic work. Food and beverages can be enjoyed in these areas.

Considerate
Considerate zones are designated areas in the library for low to medium volume conversations. Small groups may meet here. Media should be listened to with headphones. Food and beverages can be enjoyed in these areas.

Quiet
The quiet zone is a designated area in the library for quiet individual study. Talking should be kept to a minimum or should be done in a whisper. Phones, laptops and noisy headphones should be silenced in this area.

The 1st floor main reading room is located off of the main lobby and houses our periodicals, art library and Bruinprint. This is a great space to study at a public use computer or at a table or comfy chair. |

Lila Bunch Library has 4 study rooms located in the 1st floor main reading room and one within the Music Library. Study rooms are great for group collaborative study or individual study. Study rooms are used on a first come first serve basis. |

The music library is located off of the 1st floor main reading room and houses stacks M, DVDs, and Bruinprint. With group tables along with study carrels everyone can find a place to study. |

The 2nd floor main reading room houses Stacks A-K, O-S, U-Z and offers a couple of study nooks along with group tables and study carrels to study in groups or individually. |

The 3rd floor main contains Classroom 300, Special Collections, the Teaching and Scholarship Unit (Office Suite 308) along with stacks L & BTS. Outside of the classroom this space is reserved for individual quiet study space. |
