Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business
Biography
Gabriel is a Curb College alumnus who found his way from studying music to film early in his undergraduate career. Having graduated from the Motion Pictures program, he has a passion for the cinematic medium and for storytelling as both an art form and a way of life. These passions inform his interaction with the personnel and student body in his department, and have given him an excitement for helping students develop their own storytelling voices through logistic facilitation and technical media support.
He’s taught as an adjunct instructor but primarily serves as Equipment Manager for Curb’s Film, TV, and Media Production students. Gabriel and his team manage Curb’s inventory of high-end cinema gear, ensuring that students are fully trained and equipped to successfully shoot their narrative projects in school, and that they’re prepared for the production world beyond graduation.
Gabriel has considered Nashville home for the last seven years, is an ardent cinephile, and has a passion for the Curb College mission of unleashing the creative potential in tomorrow’s entertainers.
