Biography
Pronouns: she/her
Degree/Training: B.A. In Sociology from Colorado College; M.Ed candidate in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University.
Approach to Therapy: My approach to counseling is informed by a mix of theoretical approaches that can be summarized as being "person-centered." Clients are the experts in their experiences, and I aim to empower them through their inherent strength, wisdom, and skill set. People exist within and are impacted by the greater context of institutions, politics, religions, families, identities, communities, and other outside influences, all of which I am eager to discuss and incorporate into my client’s healing journey. I am also a Level 1 & Level 2 Brainspotting practitioner and am thrilled to be able to offer this modality to clients.
Favorite Way to Destress: To destress, you can find me at the climbing gym, on my mountain bike, or at an orange theory class. I enjoy making big dinners for her family and friends inspired by my Greek grandmother, making somewhat functional ceramics, and listening to pop culture podcasts.
Favorite Place to Unwind: Walking around the loop at McCabe with my roommate's dog, Scooby.
