Biography

Dr. Giese is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and pediatric primary care nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience.  She joined the faculty at Belmont in 2015 and is an associate professor in the graduate nursing program.  She earned her BSN from Tennessee Technological University, her MSN from Vanderbilt University, her Post-Masters FNP from Belmont University, and her DNP from Vanderbilt University.  Jeannie has prior experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, emergency services, pediatrics, and family practice.    She currently provides care as a FNP in Belmont’s on-campus student health clinic.  She and her husband Mark live in Lebanon and enjoy traveling. Her hobbies include yoga, swimming, hiking, and walking.
