Biography

Dr. Giese joined the faculty at Belmont in the fall of 2015 as an assistant professor. She began her nursing career as an emergency department nurse and later became a nurse practitioner. She is a certified family nurse practitioner and pediatric primary care nurse practitioner. She has many years of experience in allergy, asthma, and immunology but also prior experience in pediatrics and emergency care. As a board-certified FNP, she also enjoys providing holistic and evidence-based care to her patients in Belmont’s on-campus student health clinic.
