Jose was born and raised in beautiful Austin, Texas. He attended college at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California where he received his Bachelor's in Business Marketing and his Master of Divinity. His goal working in Christian Higher Education is to help cultivate meaningful, fun, and inclusive communities where anyone and everyone can grow to become the person God has created them to be. Prior to this role, Jose served in Residence Life and other ministry roles in higher education institutions and churches. Outside of work Jose loves to go to concerts, relax with friends, binge anime, and his latest hobby is playing pickleball.
