Biography

Nadine Waran-Perrero is the Student Enrichment Coordinator and an Adjunct Professor, at the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business.

Originally from Malaysia, she is classically trained in Bharatanatyam and piano. She had also attended a Chinese-Mandarin speaking medium school and began honing her verbal and written Mandarin skills from the tender age of four years old.

As an adolescent, Nadine had moved to Germany to study the German language, while simultaneously attending the Modern Music School- where she was trained in vocal performance and piano by international industry professionals. Apart from her main schooling, she was also enrolled into ballet and contemporary pop dance lessons.

After immersing herself within the German culture for a little over three years, Nadine made her plans to set out to America to pursue her tertiary education. During her time in the States, she had earned her Bachelors of Arts in Vocal Music Performance, from Monmouth College. She was furnished with opportunities to continue performing internationally, particularly enjoying her 2015 trip to Rome to sing at the St. Peter’s Basilica, among other venues. After her graduation, Nadine moved to the East Coast to work with non-profit organizations. Followed by a move back to the Midwest, where she had attended Columbia Chicago and graduated from the Business and Entrepreneurship program, with a Masters in Performing Arts Management. Throughout her time at Columbia, she had the joy of managing Artists, working on SXSW events, producing in-person and virtual events, as well as performing for many showcases.

In her desire to remain in the area of the Arts, and her dedication to higher education, she was naturally drawn to the work served at the Curb College. In 2020, Nadine and her growing family, moved to Nashville TN, and began her career at Belmont University shortly after.
