Biography
Johanna Lewis joins Belmont University as Director of the BruinShop. She has an extensive background in Retail Merchandising, Product Development, Direct Imports, Marketing, Omni-Channel, Financial Planning and Store Management.
Johanna has been fortunate to have worked for some of the largest and most successful retailers in the country, including Dillard’s, Belk, Target Corp and Macy’s. As EVP Chief Merchandising Officer for Gordmans Inc., she executed a turn around strategy that resulted in a successful Nasdaq IPO. Most recently she retired from her position as Senior Vice President of Ross Stores, where she profitably doubled the sales of the Home business in 5 years.
Johanna has a B.S. Degree in Business from Arizona State University.
Johanna feels blessed to be in Tennessee and to be part of the Belmont community.
She’s grateful to share her life in Nashville with her husband, sister, daughter, son-in-law and step son.
