Education Dean's Advisory Council

I joined EDSAC because I wanted to help the College of Education in any way I could. The professors and staff pour into each of their students; this was my opportunity to do the same and create a welcoming environment for our program! It has been lovely to discuss and work on solutions to help the College of Education!

I love having the privilege of being a part of a student-professor council where our faculty of our college, especially Dean McIntyre, care about spending time listening to student voices. They are devoted to using our feedback and praises and questions to continue improving our College of Education step by step!

Being a part of EDSAC allows me to provide authentic feedback on the coursework and inner working of the College of Education, as well as the opportunity to create and implement innovative ideas to further a sense of community and promote student success.

I wanted to be a part of EDSAC because I wanted the opportunity to impact my fellow College of Education peers and the college as a whole because it allows me to help more people than I ever expected when I first came to Belmont. This gives me a chance to be in a leadership position as a freshman, which is very rare, and made me very excited.

I joined EDSAC because of my passion for the education field and wanting to make a positive impact in the College of Education! Through EDSAC I am able to be a leader and advocate for my peers as the faculty truly listens to and implements our suggestions for improving the Education Department.

During my time on EDSAC, I've been fortunate enough to contribute to the growth the College of Education has had throughout my time here. It is my way to pay it back and forward by listening to my peers and seeing the home I love grow better and better.

I wanted to be a part of EDSAC because I knew I wanted an opportunity to support education students and allow their voices to be heard. I love that the dean hears what we have to say and truly takes into consideration our opinions and ideas. 

I wanted to join EDSAC because I wanted to be more involved in the Education College. With EDSAC, I'm able to voice what I see in the classroom and what needs improvement. It has helped me feel more comfortable in the classroom and opened my opportunities. 

I joined EDSAC to become more involved in the College of Education as well as to help advocate for students who join the COE from a different major. 

I wanted to join because I wanted to be able to support those around me and help make their time here more enjoyable.

I enjoy being in EDSAC because it allows me to connect with other Education students and collaborate with them in order to serve and make the Education department the best that it can be!
