What’s it like to live and work in Nashville?

"It’s a great time to be in Nashville. As one of the South’s fastest growing cities, Nashville has emerged as a prime location to live, work, raise a family, and have fun. Nashville has all the benefits one would expect from a large metropolitan area without sacrificing the benefits of a smaller city. It’s a place that allows you to belong. I have become engaged at many levels in city wide activities in the social, civic, philanthropic, and professional spheres."

José González, Associate Professor Entrepreneurship and Management

What brought you to Belmont?

"The opening of the School of Pharmacy brought me to Belmont. For years, I had been interested in pursuing employment at Belmont, in large part because of its Christian focus. However, the opportunity never availed itself. When the School of Pharmacy opened, I thought that it could be my gateway into the university and it was."

Marilyn Odom, Professor
