Belmont is excited to welcome SPARK’s 2025 keynote speaker, Scott Hamilton.
Hamilton is a legendary figure skater who captured global attention with his 1984 Olympic Gold medal performance in Sarajevo. With 70 titles and honors, including inductions into the United States Olympic and World Figure Skating Halls of Fame, he has helped shape the sport as a performer, producer, best-selling author and commentator.
After losing his mother to cancer and surviving cancer and a pituitary brain tumor himself, Hamilton became a dedicated health activist. He founded the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation to further support cancer research, education and survivorship programs. He also established Chemocare.com and the 4th Angel Mentoring Program.
Today, Hamilton continues to influence the sport by coaching and developing athletes at the Scott Hamilton Skating Academy in Bellevue, Tennessee.
Scott Hamilton’s being at Belmont and his talk are generously supported by the AWC Family Foundation. The Foundation is a benefactor of Belmont with such speakers as Randall Wallace, Henry Cloud, RA Dickey, and Gary Sinise. Click to learn more about the AWC Family Foundation seminar series.
