Summer Orientation is a required experience packed with information, community connections, and check-the-task-off the list opportunities! During Summer Orientation, students will register for their fall academic courses and complete other key steps to prepare for their Belmont journey. Summer Orientation also offers a parent/guest track designed specifically for Belmont parents and guests.
As a reminder, students will only be able to participate and register for fall courses on the summer orientation session they have officially registered to attend. If you have questions about registering for your orientation session, please contact us at orientation@belmont.edu.
In order to accommodate the needs of all students, we will be offering several 1-day on-campus sessions and several 1-day virtual sessions.

Summer Orientation sessions are 1-day only. Student sessions will be from 9am-9pm and parent/guest sessions will be from 9am-4pm.
Note: There will not be a Summer Orientation session on Friday, June 19th.
Registering for Summer Orientation
Registration for Summer Orientation opens in February 2026. Students who have submitted their enrollment deposit, a requirement to register for Summer Orientation, will receive an email notifying you of when and how to register. Summer Orientation will take place from June 8-18, 2026. Students must attend one of several sessions. You will be able to select which session works best for you when you register.
Students register for Summer Orientation through their BU4U account. See below for instructions on how to register for Summer Orientation.
Students must submit their enrollment deposit before they can register for orientation.
Instructions
- Log into your BU4U account.
- On the Orientation tab, select your preferred session from the list of available options.
- Complete the Summer Orientation Registration form and submit.
To maintain a quality experience for our new students, there is a limited number of new students who can attend each session. Registration is based on a first come, first registered system. Once a session has reached its capacity, the session will automatically close to new registrations.
If you are unable to register for your preferred session, please register for your next choice. After registering for your next choice session, email orientation@belmont.edu and request to be put on the wait list. In your email please note your first and last name, your BUID, your preferred dates, and the reason for the accommodation.
