Belmont University offers you a variety of options to fit your unique college journey. With our Early Action I & II plus Regular Decision plans, applying as a first-year student for Fall 2026 has never been more exciting or flexible!
Why Apply Early Action?
Early Action is perfect for students who are eager to finalize their college plans early in their senior year. The best part? Applying Early Action is non-binding meaning you can apply to other schools and still qualify for scholarships and financial aid. Choose the path that works best for you:

Early Action I
- Complete your application and submit all materials by November 1 to be among the first to receive your admission decision.
- Applying during Early Action I puts you in consideration for Belmont's Top Scholarships and Departmental Scholarships.
- You'll hear from us by November 20, giving you plenty of time to plan your future.
- If you're accepted, secure your spot by submitting your nonrefundable deposit by May 1.
Early Action II
- Complete your application and submit all materials by December 1 if you need a little more time.
- Applying during Early Action II puts you in consideration for Departmental Scholarships.
- Your admission decision will arrive by December 20.
- If accepted, you also have until May 1 to secure your spot by submitting your nonrefundable deposit.
Prefer More Time? Choose Regular Decision!
We understand that everyone's journey is different. Our Regular Decision deadline is designed for students who need more time to complete their application.
- Apply between December 2 - March 1
- Decisions will be released in January and will continue on a rolling basis.
- If accepted, submit your nonrefundable deposit by May 1.
No matter which option you choose, we can't wait to welcome you to the Belmont community!
