Pursuing the Pre-Health journey means planning and pursuing your dreams. BU Pre-Health is here to help you along the journey! We've mapped out the seminars and activities you should attend and when you should attend them. We've done this to help guide your journey, make sure you get the essential information when you need it, to break misconceptions, and to ensure that your time meeting with the pre-health advisor is helpful. When you've completed the requirements below, you will receive a Pre-Health certificate & BUPH pin to wear at graduation!
Suggested Schedule (specific required events in bold)
- Pre-Health 101
- Introduction to Health Careers OR Health Professions Panel
- Participate as mentee in all PALs sessions
- Attend 2 more Pre-Health events
- Start the Pre-Health Experiential Portfolio
- Develop/Improve upon/Research a pertinent seminar/activity for students on campus (Sophomore or Junior year)
- Attend 5 Pre-Health events (can include events you developed)
- Keep up with the Pre-Health Experiential Portfolio
- Applying this Summer/Fall Overview
- Assessing Candidacy Workshop
- Application Writing Workshop A & B
- Interviewing Workshop
- Attend 1 more Pre-Health event (can include events you developed)
- Keep up with the Pre-Health Experiential Portfolio
