The Randall & Sadie Baskin Center
Completed in 2012, the 75,000 square feet, the three-story brick and limestone building sits atop a five-level underground parking garage that accommodates 520 vehicles. The copper-roofed dome features a skylight at the top, representing the "eye of God" guiding human law. The exterior's Corinthian columns mimic those of the Belmont Mansion. The Baskin Center offers four different porticos to represent the four types of law: local, state, federal and God's.
Inside, the Baskin Center contains more than a dozen classrooms, a 21st century trial courtroom, an appellate courtroom, a two-story law library and more than 20 faculty offices. The building was designed with the needs of law students in mind, and features numerous amenities including a student commons, offices for student organizations and a locker room.
