Launch of Professional Mentorship Program

In partnership with the College administration, the O'More Advisory Board has launched a new mentorship program benefitting all majors in the O'More College.

​The Advisory Board includes representatives from the three professional realms associated with the College and others who are committed to design education. The CAD Mentoring Program will support students by connecting them with local professionals who will help them navigate their educational preparation for, and entry into, their chosen professions

At the kick-off meeting on Sept. 21, student mentees were given the opportunity to meet potential mentor matches, which were finalized with the input of department chairs. Mentors and mentees are expected to connect at least once per month throughout the academic year to engage in discussions, firm visits, and any other activity that is deemed helpful to gaining insight into the professional world, building communication skills, and having support in navigating career paths.
